We need your help! Mario Lanza Dog Park does not receive any funding from the city of Philadelphia and relies solely on donations from dog owners like you to help with park maintenance and pay for improvements.

Dog park

Already a member or looking to donate to the park?

  • Knowing that you are supporting a community based organization that provides a safe, off-leash outdoor space for city dogs
  • Voting rights, which entitles you to run for the Board and vote in elections
  • Tax deductible donation
  • Special gifts and discounts given at social events and holiday parties

Mario Lanza Dog Park is a public space and users are not required to be members; however, we strongly encourage all users to become members as the park and its volunteer board relies almost solely on member donations for maintenance and improvements. With your support we can keep the park looking beautiful. If you enjoy bringing your dog to the dog run, please take a moment to send in a donation to keep the dog run looking its best!

If you regularly visit the park, we ask that you contribute a small annual membership fee to help offset maintenance costs (resurfacing the run, repairing lights and the Catharine Street gate, water fixture repairs, etc.) and to help us build towards making the park even better for our dogs – and humans! – to enjoy (turf, fully stocked waste bag dispensers, string lights, holiday themed events, and more!).

Suggested membership fee: $50 per household annually
